We have been learning about weather features and different kind of weather.

¨Maaaaan I really wanna jump in a pool right now… IT'S BLAZING OUT HERE!¨

Weather is something that changes minute by minute and there is a lot kind of weather Thunderstorms, Rain, Blizzard, and Drought. There is hot weather, and cold weather.

Tornadoes are really dangerous because they are really fast and if I mean fast I really mean fast they go on 300 Mph. Now that is Extreme speed. Tornadoes often visit Tornado Alley in United States.

Floods happen when it rains too much and fills up Rivers, Lakes, and Ponds. After they get filled up they overflow and make sort of a pool but real deep. I think Floods might be dangerous for us because the water might get contaminated by sewage and hazardous substances coming from drainage's.

Droughts, Drought has happened to Philippines A LOT OF TIMES. Drought happens when the sun is too hot and dries all the water, Droughts happen to fields. When drought happens it starts to crack the dirt and damage the plants.

Thunderstorms, are really loud and scary. When I see a Thunderstorm I just watch T.V and cuddle up with some pillows. Thunderstorms happens when the clouds become black. In thunderstorms  there are two things happened Thunder and Lightning THEY ARE SO ANNOYING!!!

I love Weather specially Thunderstorms but how does weather work?

Today, we are landing the ship we have been going south for days and it's freezing out here. We better make a camp before the night comes, we might as well explore we might find something magnificent. Come on guys! Meanwhile at the camp… Let's build the camp before Captain Cook comes back, I'll be back okay? Where do you think your going? I'm just going to fish. Captain Cook! Yes? Look at the Penguins! Wow! Those are Emperor Penguins! Where could the other Penguins be? Probably hunting? Meanwhile at the camp… Here I found some fish I will do the campfire! Wait where is everybody?! Over here! What are you doing? Just fixing the snowmobile. Need help? Yes just gimme the wrench. *Picks up Screwdriver* Here! This is not a wrench! Oh sorry! Meanwhile Captain Cook… Here they are! The Penguins! They are feeding the babies. I think we should head back… Good idea matey! And they head back home to their camp and continued their Adventure...

Roald Amundsen Description

(Used to be a doctor) Explorer.

Born in July 16 1872 Borge Norway.

First man who reached South Pole.

Died in June 18 1928 During a rescue attempt.

They made a new sled that has 50 pounds but the original sled has 195 pounds so it wouldn't break through the ice and make it easier for the dogs to pull.

They used dogs but Robert Falcon Scott used ponies/horse that is why they did not make it

Roald Amundsen did not tell his group that they are going to south after he saw the news that north pole has been reached.

His mother died at his age of 21.

Roald Amundsen started sailing in his age of 25.

His father died at his age of 14.

Roald Dahl was named after Roald Amundsen.

Roald became a crewmember on various ships traveling to the Arctic.

Penguin Painting

We used paint to create the effect of feathers. I am so sorry for the picture being side ways I could not find a better picture. We each paint a penguin and paint it one by one we had to draw it first and we had to colour it Black next day we used the colour Whit, Orange, and Yellow. When I am done this is what it looks like.

Rainy Day Art

We used crayon and dye to show movement and ripples in a weather feature. We has to use white crayons on draw lines and puddles and when were done. And we dye it whit four dyes Black, Dark Blue, Blue, and Grey. when I finished this is what came out.

Draft Writing	Antarctica is a cold desert. It is a ginormous, freezing, and even animals lives there. Antarctica is the coldest and whitest place in the world it is also the windiest place. And when you think is cold the temperature doesn’t go up but the wind level does. When the snow comes down the ice is packed together, then when the packed ice slides down the water it becomes a glacier which turn into an iceberg in a couple of days. I think that Antarctica is cool because I never knew that it was an island underneath the Antarctica.
