Today we are learning about symmetry, symmetry means when you fold a shape it's still the same. I tried to make a robot but it came out like this.

Today we had to do lines of symmetry and I picked Hexagons I tried to make a diamond and this is the result. I had to make lots of hexagons and I think this is awesome. The diamond that I made has 2 Symmetry lines. I had to make it so it will not show up white lines.

Yesterday, we had to hide on our secret spot but no-one had to find us which is great. I had a really good one that I knew. I know that spot when I was new at our school.

There was a kid that shown me that spot I said, “Wow! This is amazing” he said, “I KNOW RIGHT!” I was really amazed, for first I didn’t know where we were going and there was the part that I was surprised.

Now for my hiding spot. I’m gonna do a map of it but first I will show you what it feels being on my hiding spot. My spot is low ground, if you try to jump up you will bang your head and I hear loud stomping and you have to crouch to get to it. And its muddy and gross it has leaves twigs and old rotting leafs. I had to crawl and when your gonna crawl watch out because there is a transparent plastic roof sticking out and when you're crawling you might get stabbed and hurt your spine which really hurts I always get stabbed at the back by the transparent plastic roof. Once you’re in it you are good to go! For me It’s the coolest hiding spot because you can see people and they will not see you.

Yesterday we are reading about Huhu Grubs we had to make a Huhu Life cycle as you can see the first one is eggs, Hatches from eggs, eats rotting wood, stays on its spot when it's full, and it grows its legs and wings, turns into a adult and grows its colours. It was fun making this Huhu grub life cycle!

Stone Peeking out. Grass roots peeking out. Water (on our plot.) Mud hills.	Chunky. Gewy. Gross. Feels massaging. Wet/Soggy. PlayDoh.	Grass. Strong mint. Fertiliser. Dump.	Like a dark melted chocolate. As wet as a soggy bread.

When I saw the boxes on the ground outside our room I was excited! Until I saw it... IT WAS MUD!!! I was thinking in my head if I want to touch it or not. We got to sit beside the box I was with Jed, Nathan, Kristie, Talia, and me. I really want to touch it but something is randomly holding me back. I hold my pinky finger and put it slowly down the box I closed my eyes until... I touched it it felt cold when the wind comes my pinky is freezing I put every finger until I was enjoying. Until I had an idea I open my hand as wide as I can and I rolled and rolled my hand in the mud and it felt cold when I rolled my hand in the mud. and felt real good. and we had to go back in the room and that is the end

Anzac

For the last two weeks we have been learning about ANZAC day and why we remember the people who have risked their lives for our freedom and our way of life. We have been doing writing about it and watching videos about it one of the thing is we had a visitor on Wednesday and she showed us a ANZAC soldiers Penny.

We had a visitor who is Connie´s nana and she told us about her relatives who went to war.
